Jay Cannon has long been the chief planner for her family and friends, so it’s no surprise that she’s chosen project management as a career. Although she’s applied her talents in several areas—including higher education, youth development, and community outreach—she recognizes that all clients are unique and enjoys helping each along its journey of growth.

Fostering Collaborative, Inclusive Partnerships

Jay was drawn to Credo for its impact not only on the colleges and universities we work with, but also each student those campuses serve. As a Project Manager for Leadership Strategies, Jay works with colleagues to anticipate client needs and develop solutions that promote successful outcomes. She plays an integral role in managing team logistics and administrative tasks, and she’s committed to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and equitable environment for each project.

I always do my best to bring a thoughtful perspective to navigating projects, never forgetting the individual people in the midst of the team and work.

Blending Hard Work with Humor

Jay is dedicated to making sure project’s journey is as enjoyable as the destination. She has a knack for balancing dedication to her work with a sense of humor—a unique blend of strategic thinking and lightheartedness that’s appreciated by Credo colleagues and clients alike! When she’s not at work, you can often find Jay exploring new places and cultures through her travels. Closer to home, she likes to cook, loves music, and hopes to adopt a fur baby soon.
